The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation perpetuates the memory of members of the Victoria Police killed in the line of duty by giving financial support to worthwhile community projects within Victoria, principally the support funding of specialised medical facilities in Victorian hospitals.

The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation doesn't just remember lives... IT SAVES THEM! through the creation of “living memorials” in the form of trauma units and specialised medical facilities in our public hospitals. Continued support is crucial to the expansion of the work Blue Ribbon has started so that more projects can be undertaken and more lives can be saved.

Riding bikes can be inherently risky at times, which is another reason why the event partners of the Festival of Cycling feel the support of the Blue Ribbon Foundation is a perfect alignment for all cyclists throughout Victoria, because one day, the specialized hospital units that donated funds raised through the Festival will help support, may one day be integral to the survival of someone precious to yourself.

The Blue Ribbon Foundation is the Fund raising beneficiary of the Festival of Cycling.
