Festival patrons will be entertained with live music throughout the day, from rock to laid back folk & blues, featuring Code One, Marta Pacek, Fab Tolli and friends.

Bring a picnic, or food and coffee available, and chill out while the kids are kept busy and enjoy the day.

Supporting the 'Go for your life' Festival and the the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation will be the acclaimed Victoria Police band: Code One.

Code One is successful in reinforcing safety messages to the community and is highly acclaimed among Melbourne rock circles. A versatile band and a crowd drawer, creating immense impact with audiences wherever they perform.

In the quest to maintain public confidence and perception, Code One conveys positive organisational messages targeting the Victorian community, specifically youth, through the universal language of music.

Marta Pacek:

The Festival musical entertainment has been superbly broadened with the line-up now including the sublime talents of Marta Pacek.

Marta’s sound is reminiscent of the 60’s San Francisco scene when poetry was rampant. Her music is narrative and thought provoking, and Marta admittedly uses her songs to express issues often difficult to touch on in everyday encounters with people. Her songs can be anything from hauntingly reflective to highly infectious folk/ pop songs and are distinct stories of fear, betrayal, discovery, love found and love thrown away.

A captivating live show, Marta oozes eccentricities and a uniqueness that is difficult to turn away from.

As a solo artist as well as playing with her full band, Marta has played the Victorian live circuit scene for 5 years before setting her sights on the Canadian Market in March 08 For Canadian music week & June 08 for the North by North East Festival in Toronto.

People’s Day at Albert Park will feature Marta and her band, providing further great entertainment for a relaxing day in the park.
